Although today is a sad day for all of us, carry on to laugh as loud as possible in honor of Gilbert Love, the Gottfried family.

Glenn Schwartz, a longtime friend and publicist of Gottfried’s, gave more information about Gottfried’s disease. According to NBC News, Schwartz said Gottfried suffered from “recurrent ventricular tachycardia due to myotonic dystrophy type II.”
