The Coker Museum opens for a special visit on Saturdays
After nearly 14 months of being closed to the general public, the Coker Museum reopened for tours on May 15.
Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This Saturday, Memorial Day weekend, the museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum will be closed on Mondays for Memorial Day.
“The public is invited to come and see a major exhibition of automotive history at the Coker Museum in downtown Chattanooga,” officials said. “With over 100 vintage cars, hot rods, motorcycles, trucks, buses and even planes hanging overhead, there’s something for everyone. New vehicles have arrived in recent months, including a 1911 Pierce Arrow.
Admission is $ 10 for adults, $ 8 for children 5 to 12 and free for children 4 and under. Buy your tickets online at www.cokermuseum.com/gettickets.
The Coker Museum at the Honest Charley Speed Shop is located at 1309 Chestnut St., directly across from the Convention Center and two blocks from Main Street.
