It all came to a halt on Saturday as Abramovich announced he would step down as sole owner of Chelsea and return the management and care of the club to trustees of the Chelsea Charitable Foundation. Abramovich revealed that he has the best interests of the club at heart and wants to play a positive role in the local community.

The club has won everything in club football in the 20 years of its ownership, including the biggest prize of all, two UEFA Champions League winners’ medals. The club won the UCL last season and are looking to build a team that would compete for the top honors every season.
