Where do you come into contact with the mainframes behind the scenes?

Due to its strengths in transaction processing, reliability, and security / regulation, IBM Z is widely used in the financial industry for banks, insurance companies, and stock exchanges. Mainframes are also used in many cases in public administration. In addition, large industrial companies in the automotive, aviation and transport sectors rely on mainframes because of their security and reliability.

These companies also appreciate the unique backward and forward compatibility capabilities. IBM Z is also trusted by many companies in the retail and logistics industry. During the corona pandemic, these companies once again appreciated the strengths of the mainframe.

For example, there was an increase in the workload at various banks due to requests for loans or deferrals – and in retail there was a high demand for IT capacity among our customers with e-commerce. . Such leaps in capacity could be resolved with agility with IBM Z; Current bottlenecks in IT components also affect IBM-Z customers to a greatly reduced extent.
