Galloway and Pitcock highlight the RG League

Steve Galloway scored a 28 for a low score on the first nine and Jimmy Pitcock shot 29 for a low score on the back in Tuesday’s Rice-Galloway Optometry League in Green Valley.

The low net on the front nine was 24 by Jon Ward and on the back nine was 22 by Matt McCandlish. Low Net Team was Domino’s with 99.

MHPCC League led by Galloway

Kathi Galloway posted a gross low of 35 and a net low of 26 in Tuesday’s MHPCC Women’s League in Green Valley.

The winning teams were 2, 6 and 10.

MVOTA holding Legion Baseball Trials

The Muskingum Valley Old-Timers Baseball Assn. will hold American Legion Junior and Senior Trials for players ages 15-19 at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 22 and 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 23 at Bergin Field in Duncan Falls.

The home matches will be played at the municipal stadium in Gant. The registration fee will be $ 120.

Rosecrans basketball camp will take place in June

The Rosecrans basketball camp for all levels will take place June 14-17 at Rosecrans High School.

Boys and girls in Kindergarten to Grade 4 go from 10 a.m. to noon and middle school (5 to 8) is held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. each day, while the high school, which is only for boys, is 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

The cost is $ 60 per child and $ 90 for middle school boys who wish to attend the middle and high school camps.

Spring Fling Golf Scramble is approaching

The Spring Fling Golf Scramble, sponsored by the Rosecrans Golf Team, will take place at 9 a.m. on May 16 in Green Valley.

The cost is $ 40 per person and a set of skins is $ 5. The top three places pay and food and drink will be provided.
