Kettering vintage rally and steam show takes place this weekend
The popular Kettering Vintage Rally and Steam Fair returns this weekend after the 2020 event was canceled due to Covid.
The event – hosted at a site near Cranford – takes place Saturday and Sunday (September 25-26) with its 21st anniversary.
Over 1,000 exhibits are expected with steam cars and scale models, vintage and classic cars as well as a multitude of motorcycles, cycles, tractors, buses, military, commercial and 999 vehicles.
There will also be engines, miniature and handcrafted tent, model ships, awnings, parrots, owls, arena events and more.
Visitors will be able to get a good deal at the charity stalls, automobiles and jumble with a fun fair also during the event.
Food and drinks will also be available.
Dave’s famous ‘steam bar’ will have a real beer festival with nightly entertainment.
The rally and fair, which supports the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire air ambulance and other charities, is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
It is located just off the A510, near exit 11 of the A14. Parking on site is free. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
Tickets cost £ 10 for adults and £ 8 for seniors or children aged five to 16. Children under five are free. A family ticket (two adults and up to three children) costs £ 25.
