Harley-Davidson Low Rider El Diablo 2022

Last spring, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles announced its Icons Collection – a series of limited-edition motorcycles inspired by some of the Bar and Shield brand’s most iconic motorcycles. And after previously rolling out a modern homage to the 1969 Electra Glide, the MoCo has now taken the lid off the second addition to the Icons collection with the new Low Rider El Diablo.

Billed as a modernized version of Harley’s 1983 FXRT, the Low Rider El Diablo draws visual inspiration from 1980s Southern California surf and skate culture and the custom cruisers and choppers born of that era. Rolling on dark matte bronze cast aluminum wheels, the El Diablo is decked out in a hand-painted livery courtesy of Golden, Colorado’s Gunslinger Custom Paint. The livery starts with a bright red base before getting a second coat of red Sunglo, then finally being treated with pin stripes and a candy finish juxtaposed by a host of blacked out components including the powertrain, front and exhaust of the motorcycle. A frame-mounted fairing, low-profile tank console, tinted 6-inch high windshield, deep solo seat and old-school 1-inch bars on retractable 4-inch risers complete the vintage-inspired look. from the west coast. appearance.

Built around Black and Orange’s Softail chassis, the bike features a Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine that’s been treated to high-performance cams, a forward-facing heavy air intake, and a 12-inch exhaust. shotgun shifted two in two. The bike also includes a factory-installed high-output Rockford Fosgate audio system with a 250-watt smart amplifier with digital signal processing technology, two 5.25-inch woofers, two remote tweeters and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity. In addition to removable and lockable hard saddlebags with nearly 54 liters of storage space, other standout features include 43mm inverted forks, USB charging port, LED lighting all around, anti-lock braking and cruise control speed, all standard.

Limited to a one-time run of 1,500 serialized copies worldwide, the 2022 Harley-Davidson Low Rider El Diablo is priced at $27,999 and is expected to arrive in dealerships in the fall of 2022.
