Angel Adoree and Dick Strawbridge returned to the screens as they were filmed renovating their 45-bedroom home on Channel 4’s hit show Escape to the Chateau.

In a repeat episode, which aired on Saturday, Dick showed Angel a vintage wedding vehicle he planned to convert into a motorhome.

Dick loved the automobile, but Angel found it hilarious.

During the episode, Dick drove 400 miles to South Wales to purchase the vintage vehicle.

Dick spotted the cream-colored wedding bus he thought was “absolutely beautiful” being sold by a transport manager called Nev.

Dick said he had wanted to buy one of the vehicles for his family for a very long time.

“It’s absolutely beautiful,” Dick said of the Asquith Mascot bus, which was built in the 1980s using parts from a public transit van.

Dick was in love with the vehicle which had recently been used as a wedding car and he decided to buy it and drive it to France.

As Dick pulled up in the castle driveway in the vintage vehicle, Angel couldn’t help but laugh.

Dick said: “It’s so much better in real life.”

Angel gave her husband a hug and a kiss and told him she loved the RV.

“It’s ridiculous, isn’t it?” Dick joked.

“That’s amazing, wow,” added Angel. “It’s ridiculous.”

Dick agreed it looked ridiculous, but their children Arthur and Dorothy were thrilled with the unusual purchase.

Angel and Dick planned to turn the 1980s bus into a fully equipped motorhome.

“Love it,” exclaimed Arthur, and his little sister said she “loved” the car too.

“Wow,” Dorothy exclaimed.

The vehicle was used as a wedding bus, but needed some interior work before it could be converted into a family motorhome.

Before any renovation work, the family wanted to take the vehicle for a picnic.

To celebrate the occasion, Angel decided to make a stylish picnic blanket, using the old vintage scarves she bought over the years.

The family then headed to the picnic in the vintage bus.

The RV conversion would have to wait as Angel had to continue preparing for his parents’ 50th wedding anniversary celebrations.
