15th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance Features Vintage Cars and Grand Gala – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

BOCA RATON, FLA. (WSVN) — A big benefit this weekend brought vintage wheels and a special gala to Boca Raton, all for a great cause.

The 15th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance showcased some of the most beautiful cars and motorcycles ever built.

The event, founded by the Rick Case Automotive Group, featured a show, auction and sale.

Rick Case Automotive Group CEO Rita Case said the event raised millions for charity and paid tribute to her late husband, Rick Case.

“All weekend, we are, of course, honoring Rick, who passed away [in 2020], and his energy and passion for bringing this event which is now known around the world,” she said. “The Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance, benefiting Broward County Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs, is on every car enthusiast’s bucket list.”

The event ended with a gala on Saturday evening. NASCAR great Jeff Gordon and auto dealers Lilliam and Gus Machado received lifetime achievement awards.

Gordon and Gus Machado said the service makes the honor special.

“When I think of tonight, I think of the mentors and the people who were there to help me get into the race, to help me through my career, to help guide me,” said Gordon.

“Our things that we both do, things that are already happening, can be a little better, and that’s very important,” Machado said.

7News presenter Lynn Martinez was also present at the event.
